EXAMINATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HEALTH LITERACY AND HEALTH CARE SYSTEM DISTRUST

Aim: The study aimed to examine the relationship between individuals' distrust of health care system and their literacy levels how demographic characteristics affect level distrust.
 Materials Methods: research was conducted with 450 people over 18 living in Selcuklu, Meram, Karatay districts central Konya province. A 32-question survey consisting questions, Health Literacy Scale (HLS), Care System Distrust (HCSD) applied participants.
 Results: According Pearson's correlation test research, a negatively weak significant found systems, which associated increased lower distrust. regression analysis, there statistically systems. Accordingly, 4.4% variance systems explained by (R2=0,044).
